Thanks to everyone who delurked last week! See! That was fun! 🙂 I have enjoyed seeing everyone’s blogs, and will be leaving comments later this afternoon.
We found this little friend today on our sunflowers:
Can you guess what it is??
We also are experimenting with making homemade pickles:
OK, one more.
My Dad is going back to college today. Please keep him your prayers- he is studying to be a lawyer. Right now, he is working on introduction to college mathematics and introduction to business.
Also, be looking for my new book ferris wheel that will be going on my sidebar this week.

SavedGirl over at Living For Jesus has made a new meme for the week called “Hymn Monday”, where you share a hymn and commit to learning (or playing) it.
My Hymn is going to be “My Father’s World”. This is one of my favorite hymns, but I have never learned to play it on an instrument. Therefore, this week, I am going to learn to play it on my piano.
It is such a lovely hymn- I enjoyed learning more about it in our hymn book, “Then Sings My Soul”, which tells about hymns and has the sheet music for all of them as well.
I hope you enjoyed “Hymn Monday“! Be sure to visit Living For Jesus !

Growing in Grace magazine is giving away a free Life of Faith Laylie Colbert book!
I enjoy reading the “Life Of Faith” books very much. I haven’t gotten to read this one yet, so I can’t really speak for it. It sounds really good though! : )
Head on over and enter- I love the Growing in Grace website. They always post really neat things on Christian life and Godly girlhood/womanhood.
I hope everyone is having a great day!

My Dad is the very best Dad in the whole world.
He has the hearts of my siblings and I, and we love him so very much.
D- Dads should be strong in the Lord. My Dad always is who we come to for spiritual guidance. He has a wonderful understanding of the Word and is always there to answer questions or help us learn.
A- Always steadfast, my Dad does not allow the worries of the world to bother him. He helps us through our rough times as well as us being able to see his wonderful example of leaning on God.
D- Dads should love to be a daddy. I know that my Dad loves us so very much- he would do anything for us, anytime. He plays with us, answers our questions, and teaches us along the way.
D- Dad has always been a hard worker to provide for our family. He is working hard and is going to be starting law school in just a few short weeks.
Y- Young at heart- my Dad is definitely young at heart. He never minds laughing at our jokes or playing along in our games.
Thank you Dad, for all that you do each and every day.

Simply Sactified is the online blog of Sara Smith. This is such a sweet young woman. I love reading her blog each and every day, as it encourages me to stay on the “straight and narrow”.
She just recently began courting a young man- go over and congratulate her. It is wonderful to see what happens when you wait on God’s timing for courtship.
It is such a sweet blog- I know you will love it too.
