We learned yesterday that God will be blessing us with a new house in January! 🙂
The previous owner said that she would really like to sell the house to a happy family, and that she had been praying over it and felt like we were that family! We are all so very excited!
This house is 4-5 times larger than our current house, and when we are finished renovating the basement and attic, it will have more square footage than the Duggar’s house. It sits on several acres of land that has a beautiful lake/pond on it too. Our pastor and his family actually live next door on one side, and on the other side is a farm that raises buffalo and bison. It will be a nice change, as I am sure you can imagine. 🙂
So, we will now be spending our time packing boxes. We have packed several, but we still have several to go.
To top it off, we will still be going to DC over Christmas, so we are going to be super busy. I will try to check in if I have some time. : )
A very excited Courtney 😉
Hello there! 🙂
It seems like it has been half of forever since I have blogged! I have so missed talking with each of you- you all mean a lot to me. =)
My Grandmother is recovering well. She will be starting physical therapy next week. It will help her be able to regain the use of her legs so that she can walk again. I know that she is looking forward to it. She is such an active person that it has been hard for her to not be able to walk.
The seasons are passing by so quickly- cooler weather has come here to the deep south. The wind has been softly blowing the leaves from the trees, creating pools of color in our yard. I love this time of the year! We have been busy working on our Thanksgiving menu- it’s hard to believe that it is almost time!
We will be in Washington D.C. over Christmas week again. I am so excited! We had a wonderful time last year, and I am sure this year will be wonderful too! : ) We definitely learned some things about traveling with such a large crowd, so we will be doing some tweaking to our packing and such. I am going to try and “live-tweet” the trip, so stay tuned for details on how to watch all the buzz as we prepare and head up north! =D
Daddy’s campaign has been so busy lately! Every day something exciting happens… it really is an incredible adventure! No matter how the results come in on election day, we know that God’s hand has been on us the whole time. We have seen His hand at work on so many things- it is such a blessing!
I need to run- I have quite the to-do list that is calling my name! 🙂
Blessings to each of you,
